Doubles Addition and Subtraction

I created this PowerPoint to formatively assess student's understanding of the doubles strategy. I had students write their answers and put their whiteboard face down on their desk. Then I can called students by row to see how well each student understood the concept.

Formative Assessment Visual
I was thinking of putting this up on the SMART board after the lesson and have students hold up the number that corresponds to the emoji on their chest for privacy. 1 - I'm having a hard time, I don't understand. 2 - A bit confused, but I could figure it out with help. 3 - I know this fairly well. 4 - I know this so well I could teach someone else. Another way to do it is to simply print it off and give it to students to fill out as an as an exit slip. - You would just have to add instructions and a place for students to write their name. You can modify it to meet your needs!
