Social 9 Charter/Rights/Responsibilities Project
An assignment for Chapter 3 - Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
Asks students to think critically about the CCRF and the responsibilities that come with our rights and freedoms in Canada. They then create a poster that details the rights that come with one of the sections (ex democratic rights), as well as what responsibilities come with having those rights.
An additional part of the assignment asks students to write a short position statement on how well rights and freedoms are guaranteed and protected in Canada.
