This science notebook is designed to help students research and learn about coniferous and deciduous trees that are native to Alberta, as required by the program of studies. *The link to the original Google Document is on the last page of the PDF, along with instructions on how to edit if you need to make changes.

Poetry Booklet
This booklet contains several activities to help students learn about the figures of speech and poetry. It has space for student to write many different types of poems, including a Haiku, Cinquain, Diamante, autobiographical, I Wish, Limerick & Free Verse. Also, it has them analyze three different poems. The PDF contains the link to the original Google Drive version on the last page, so you can make a copy and modify it as necessary.
Phone Exit Passes
This formative assessment tool can be used to gauge student understanding of a lesson or concept. Simply print them off and students can use these mock social media templates to "share" what they have learned. Since they are blank, they can be used in many different subjects!
