Try 3 Before Asking Me Sheet
Do students come to you with small problems that they could solve themselves? Yeah. Me too.
I made this sheet for my grade 6s who are way too used to letting others solve their problems for them. Print out, cut in half, hand out, increase student independence and problem solving.
I have included the PDF and powerpoint for tweaking.
